I like the place. I've tried probably half of what they have on the menu and I've liked everything that I've tried. I especially like the Chicken Pot Pie, Jambalaya, Meat & Cheese Platter, Sliders (small burgers), and the weekend specials. Last week they had blackened Monk Fish that was fantastic. You'll need 3 plated to be full, 2 plates with a soup or salad. My only complaint is that they don't have any good beer on tap, but the wine selection is outstanding. Give them a try and tell them that KI Online sent you - maybe they'll advertise here then ;D

The food is excellent, I love it! Like Rich said, you probably need 2-3 things but they do have several plates that are very filling. For example, Deep Fried Risotto - it's one of my favorites and I would recommend it to anyone. If you like raw sushi, try the Ahi Egg Rolls, those are another one of my favorites. It's fun going back and trying something new everytime!

It's all Sam's Club food. Most of it's fried crap or pub food at best.

From everything I've heard...I wasn't impressed. The food was good, but not great. And the name of course says it all "small plates", even after ordering about 6 dishes (for 2) we were still hungry! For an intimate dinner, I like the Kent Manor Inn much much better, or the place right in the middle of stevensville (love point cafe?).

Okay, I'll try this again since someone deleted my last post. Lisa's has the BEST French Onion Soup I've ever had. I normally get that when dinning out if it's on the menu, so needless to say I've sampled French Onion from a variety of places. You can view Lisa's website at www.immitation of this site/lisas They have a menu on there as well.

Why is Lisa's website not allowed to be posted? This is about Lisa's Small Plates & Wine Bar. I'm only trying to give the viewers more information about a great local eatery in which I recommend to family and friends all the time. Many of whom have stopped by while traveling through the area and agreed that the food and service is great. They also have a FREE pool table in the front bar area if anyone is interested for some late night fun.

No offense to you intended, but the site that you are posting is someone that is copying my site and basically profiting by doing that. I like Lisa's a lot, and go there on a regular basis, but I still can't steer people to my competitor who is ripping my site off. It's just a business thing is all. It would be like McDonald's allowing something that says Burger King on their menu. Hopefully Lisa's will choose to advertise here over the imitation. Either way, no offense to you and I'm sorry to have caused any confusion.

Not this again. Stop this "copying" stuff already. You didn't invent websites with local businesses. Every state, county and city in america has some hack doing these types of sites. And they're great for what they are. Nothing more nothing less. Get off your high horse.
Lisa's doesn't have someone to defend the "Sams Club" comment. So how do the people that read this forum find out information about Lisa's if you don't allow a link to their website?

Not this again. Stop this "copying" stuff already. You didn't invent websites with local businesses. Every state, county and city in america has some hack doing these types of sites. And they're great for what they are. Nothing more nothing less. Get off your high horse. Lisa's doesn't have someone to defend the "Sams Club" comment. So how do the people that read this forum find out information about Lisa's if you don't allow a link to their website? Hey, ease up a bit. Rich may not have invented websites with local businesses, but he created this one and he's the one who pays the bills. If the man wants to control what web sites are linked from his site, that's his right. I happen to agree with Rich in this case. This site provides general information on all the restaurants on the island that I can think of. This is provided free of charge to the restaurant. However, this doesn't mean there isn't a cost involved: there are a number of costs involved in building, running, and maintaining a website. None of those costs have been passed along to any of the businesses listed on this site; they are all being handled by the site owners. Now, some businesses might like to have more than just a listing. OK, that's possible too, but there is a charge for this. The business gets a more prominent listing, the surfers get more info about this particular business, and the web site makes some money to offset the costs of running the site. Everyone goes away happy. So, if this is the way this particular site makes the money it needs to survive, does it make any kind of sense for this site to provide links to competing sites? If I am Lisa's and I want more information on Rich's site, why should I buy advertising if I can just put a link up instead? If the owners of this site want to keep businesses from advertising for free, that's their right. If your link to the competitor's site includes content that this site normally charges a fee to host, then the link needs to be removed. It's a shame you can't post absolutely everything you want, but there's nothing stopping you from starting your own site. As for no one defending Lisa's, you seem to be doing a pretty fair job. The comments are running in Lisa's favor, do they even need defending? Rich is in here twice praising Lisa's and "kevin" is in here twice and you are here once. There is one comment from someone who doesn't appear to have eaten there, one comment from someone who has but who didn't particularly like it, and a third from someone wo really liked the place. It really doesn't appear that Lisa's needs defending, does it? Finally, if anyone is computer literate enough to find this forum and follow links, then they are undoubtedly capable of going to google and searching for more info on Lisa's if they care to try.

It's obvious that "kent' has something to do with the competition otherwise he would be a registered user on this board. Pretty obvious. Nobody reads his site and he's getting desperate by linking here. That's the real work of a hack.
Rich we listened to you on the radio all day. "Pride of Delaware" comment cracked me up. 3AM closing, lol!

Thanks for the info... we weren't able to go this weekend but still want to try. My husband doesn't like seafood of any kind though - are there ample enough options without seafood?

It's obvious that "kent' has something to do with the competition I'm not even in this? I'd much Rather have an Applebee's where my kids only cost 99 cents on Tu/Th or one of those days anyway. As far as not registering, You don't need to register to post a message. With some of my "radical" views I dont' want anyone having my personal info anyway. So again, why is Gas so cheap? Is Exxon purposly not making as much money. That doesn't make business sense to me. Oh, that's right, George Bush told his Big Oil friends to reduce the price and they did for the elections. Wouldn't it may more sense for Bush to keep the price of Oil down ALL the time? Keeping energy costs down and consumer spending up which is what really drives the economy?

Just ate at Lisa's for the first time tonight. We really liked the atmosphere. The selection was amazing - over 50 items on the menu! Below are the items we had and my rating 1-4 stars:
Stuffed Bella **** rich, cheesy, crispy around edges, delicious Dim Sum **** delicious sauces, decent portion Oysters Chesapeake **** rich, very good, slightly watery Stuffed Calamari ** sauce was good, calamari rubbery Chicken skewers with thai peanut sauce *** very good Steak Nachos * over cooked, dry Chocolate Lottery **** rich, smooth, fabulous!
Overall, the food was good and we would go again. Makes for a fun evening. This place is a nice addition to Kent Island!
