I can't wait for a good salad bar! DING! Round 2? My comment wasn't meant to start an argument. I don't come here to stir the pot like some others... Just wondering if the Ruby Tuesdays has been approved.

Maybe an argument wasn't intended... but I can't imagine someone want a barely-average restaurant getting built because they have a salad bar...
Ya know... salads are veggies... sold in those big stores we already have called grocery stores. (shrug)

Ahhh pot stirrer.....
I am a GOOD salad bar fan.
We went to R/T in easton back in Sep. the "good salad bar" that they had was one of the saddest I've seen.
I ordered an appetizer for my dinner

Sorry I'm late, to this Ruby Tuesday thing.
Um... Let's go over this again. There's one in Easton, check. There's one in Annapolis, check. Go drive 20 minutes in either direction for a Ruby Tuesday's, check. We don't want Franchise Restaurants, check. We want small mom and pop eateries with weird hours and because they don't do the volume a franchise does they have to offset their food, labor and start-up costs with higher prices, check. We also want to complain about said "mom&pop" eateries because they have high prices or because the bar area is "smokey". There's one in Glen Burnie, check.
Wait, one in Glen Burnie!!! We don't want to be another Glen Burnie!!!! Where is the backlash!!!

Well.... No one asked if RT was a good idea, just if it had been approved. If the question had been: Is RT good? I don't personally think so Should RT come to the island? I don't personally think so But those weren't the questions. The question was, "Any word on the Ruby Tuesdays getting approved?" My guess is there was little backlash because it was a simple question and no one has the answer. As for your "checks": Easton, Annapolis, 20 minutes: sure. No Franchise Restaurants: Not what has been said here Mom&Pop, weird hours, high prices: bad characterization, "we" doesn't include me Mom&Pop, complain, smokey: not what I've read here, bad characterization, "we" doesn't include me

Well put Falgar. I think I'm not in that "we" either..??
And if there's one 20/30 minutes away, Do we want one here? I don't need every restaurant there is at my fingertips, I just don't.

Thanks Falgar! You are right - I wasn't asking if anyone wants a Ruby Tuesday's... Just if it had been approved.
