The NWS has issued a tornado watch until 6PM today 11/16/06. This is the same band of storms that dropped tornados in North Carolina and Alabama. More info: www.kentisland.cc/wnavnews.htm

Anyone recall what wind limitations they place on the Bridge? I seem to recall they shut it down at 40 knots during Isabel... I can't find any online publish restrictions, but the phone line is stating restrictions only for RV's, empty box trucks, etc...
I'm on the blasted western shore for now, and don't intend to stay all day...

"Sleeping Dragon", that's a cool site - www.chart.state.md.us/travinfo/dmsSigns.asp with all of the state warning road signs. I see that there is another accident by the evil Severn River Bridge again. Geez. Something needs to be done there to keep people from changing lanes and crashing into each other.

Thomas Point Light, National Data Buoy Center "TPLM2" is reporting 37 knots sustained, 41 gusts at 1pm and climbing... that's why I ask. 1 knot ~~ 1.17 mph.

Oh... forgot to add. 37 knots is 42.6mph... so I begin to wonder. HEY! I have karma!? Too cool. [edit:] 2pm report is 35 knots sustained or 40.3 mph.
