Being a Catholic myself, I don't force the idea of Christmas on anyone, however, I also feel that the traditional Christmas should not be a political issue and I take exception with those who want to make it one.

I think that people should be able to say whatever they want on this - including "Merry Christmas" - without being slammed. I hope that everyone is done buying by now Since the Christmas stuff came out in early October in some places, my guess it will be out in September next year.

For me - it's Merry Christmas, & I agree it shouldn't be a political issue - but I respect others beliefs too & wish them a happy whatever it is they celebrate..... RIch - I agree about September - went out last night - they had VALENTINES crap out already!!!! OMG

I don't knock my friends that are jewish for saying "Happy Channuka" or the ones that celebrate Kiwanza, so I shouldn't be criticized for using Christmas in my greeting. Besides, everyone takes the day off for "Christmas".
