Is there still a commuter bus that runs from KI to Annapolis? I can't seem to find any info on it.

Mo, the 922 bus goes into Annapolis from Kent Island and Kent Narrows in the morning, and in the evening comes back from Annapolis. The bus continues on into DC and its first stop in the morning in DC is near the Library of Congress, and the same with the last stop in DC in the evening.
The 950 bus on the other hand has buses from Kent Narrows and Island to DC (not passing through Annapolis), stopping first at H and North Capital (3 blocks from Union Station), and that's their last stop in the evening. Other 950 buses start in Annapolis and end up in DC at the same location as the Kent Narrows/Island 950 in DC, and have returns that end in Annapolis in the evening.

I will be using Route 922 from the Kent Narrows Park & Ride to downtown DC, starting in November. I'll probably catch the 5:50 or 6:20am bus and then catch a returning bus between 4:00 and 4:30pm from either Federal Triangle or DOJ. I have some questons:
- is parking free at the Park & Ride and is plenty of parking available?
- I assume there will be plenty of available seating in the morning because Kent Narrows is the start of the route? Will the same be true for my return trip? Do the buses tend to reach capacity during the trip?
- is there ample room for bags/briefcases? Overhead storage?
- is any eating/drinking allowed on the bus?
- with the traffic, are the listed times fairly accurate in terms of when I'll arrive in DC or get back to Kent Island in the afternoon/evening?
- all things considered, is it a fairly comfortable and reliable experience?
Thanks.

Thanks. Parking free at Park n Rides: Yes Available Seating go to and From: Yes... Busses tend to get crowded in the Evenings and mornings...but rarely does anyone get left behind.. Eating and Drinking is frowned upon...but everyone does it...at least drinking... Food not so much... it can be nasueating for some to smell others food in close quarters if you know what I mean... Ample Room for stuff...plenty of overhead storage Yes...Times are fairly accurate give or take 15 minutes...in the morning... IN the afternoon... the same except for holidays, thursday and fridays in the summers, Rain, wind, disabled vehiccles, blue angels, boats , the Severn River bridge.. Annapolis, car wrecks.... All factor into the evening commute. For the most part, you arrive home on time about 92% of the time! I have been commuting this way since 2004.... Thumbs up as yes..reliable, quiet and for the most part comfortable...

Hi Fellow Commuters,
I'm moving to Davidsonville, MD and am looking to start taking the 950 bus to D.C. I've heard that if the buses fill up, you miss your opportunity, and that this happens with some frequency (?) at the Davidsonville stop. Can anyone confirm this? And if so, are there specific buses (i.e. what times) would I have the greatest success rate at actually getting a spot on the bus?
Thanks so much for your help!

I understand there is going to be some changes in the KI to DC bus routes coming up shortly. No more stop in Annapolis. The bus will still stop in Davidsonville though. The Severna Park bus will make the Annapolis stop instead. That should speed things up and be a lot less crowded. I can't seem to find an official announcement.
