I don't know if there are any gay specific bars...but most of the bars don't seem to care who is there...isn't that really the same thing?

Oh for crying out loud it's all symantics...I have been to my fair share of clubs...gay and straight (and for those keeping tabs on the ridiculous I am straight) and as long as there is good music and folks to mingle and dance with...what the HELL does it matter??? SERIOUSLY? Can't we just DROP the labels? I mean REALLY.

whose labeling? You asked if gay clubs were the same as any ole club. We just said, no they weren't. Nothing wrong with gay clubs. But look at this way...
I would not be very comfortable in a punk rock bar. Hey they serve drinks, people mingle and dance and all that other stuff....... but I don't particularly like the music, or atmosphere..so you won't catch me going to one. There is no other way for me to figure out if a club is punk, rock, country, uppity muckity, hip hop, gangsta, gay, strait, kooky or whatever with out asking.
When it comes to entertainment.... It's not labels....it's Venues....
I am straight, but I love to go to gay bars with my gay men friends.... I always have a grand ole time....... There is just something special and unique about gay clubs. With that said, OP if you find a good one in Annapolis let me know.
Ill ask my daughter's GBF if he knows of any good clubs.

LOL....woah 'bitte...down girl That wasn't me being even CLOSE to upset lol...I was laughing at the whole thing...."gay" bar, "punk" bar, "oyster" bar, "medieval" bar, all = bar I honestly thought we had moved beyond the "exclusive" "fill-in-the-blank" bars....it would seem to me that "gay" people would be just as comfortable in any ol' bar THAT was my point...at least the ones I know are. And, btw, you're daughter's GBF is just a sweetheart! Every time I think about us all at the outlets I giggle myself silly!

Good luck finding a gay bar. I'm not gay but I love Rehoboth.
