Two M.S.P. from the Centreville Barrack have been suspended. One is a Sergeant with tenure who should lose his job for his illegal drug use. Another Trooper falsified official reports to justify an illegal arrest..........The Bay times has this information, but nothing in print . WHY? The Bay times prints the full identity, with photos, of citizens arrested for minor crimes......Because the politically motivated M.S.P. doesn't want the public to have this kind of information the entire Barrack had to sign a paper ordering them to silence.....These punk Cops make the good Cops look bad.

Pete - ain't true til you prove it. Maybe you'd gain some credibility if you actually had facts to substantiate what you say, otherwise all innuendos.

shadow1.....I did not say these Cops were guilty, I said they've been suspended. The information came from the horses mouth, and if I couldn't prove it I wouldn't print it. You don't have any facts to prove me wrong, now do you my friend?.......I print my name, address, and phone number on these threads. What I print you can take to the bank.

pete.... read what you wrote, you went a lot further than just saying they were suspended. It is not possible to prove that the Sergeant does not use drugs illegally, it is only possible to prove that he did. Beyond that, in this country an individual is considered innocent until proven guilty. Don't challenge shadow1 to prove what you allege is *not* true, either provide the facts that prove your allegations *are* true or expect some people to be skeptical.

falgar25.........I could give more information on this thread, but to do so would reveal my informant. Unlike reporter Jack Shaum of the Bay Times I do not reveal my informants......The suspensions are public record, but the MSP are politicians who don't want their dirty laundry out for the public to see. Like I've said 100 times, the punk cops make the good cops look bad.

Pete - first off let me respond by stating we aren't "friends". You seem to use that word too loosely, too often. Now, as Falgar noted, it's not up to me to prove you wrong, it's up to you to back your statements which is rare, if at all. You are too quick to identify a Bay Times reporter by name, but refuse to say how you came by your information regarding the suspensions and illegal drug use by the deputy - that's a cop out (no pun intended).
If I took "what you print to the bank", I'd have to ask the Obama administration for a bail out.
Give us supported facts, Pete, and something of substance regarding your background and campaign expectations and maybe..............just maybe......... people will actually pay attention to what you say, not just blow it off as "well, that's just Pete."

This is what I mean by saying you hate police pete1. Ready to point out the flaws of your fellow officers! I find this to be wrong! I can only imagine how perfect your police record must be! Tell me how you would help this officer and his family How are you going to improve on the sheriffs office? I'll bet your morale will be great if you are in charge! Besides you want to be sheriff, why belittle the M.S.P.? What good is it for your run for office to tell everyone about the state polices problems, I think you need to stay in your wanted pay grade!

pete1, Listen, I really think you should rethink this run for office. What happened to cause you to have so much anger about fellow officers well..... Look you served and thank you for doing so, but your time has past. Save your money and time, turn your anger to helping these men and woman and maybe you will feel better about things.

Deep Sea.........Your are correct, I am angry.............I'm angry that 40,000,000 illegals are draining our tax dollars with the permission of the authorities. I'm angry that our tax dollars are being waisted on the failed drug war. I'm angry that our returning brave military people don't receive the treatment they deserve. I'm angry there are drugs in all our schools in Q.A.Co.. I'm angry that the girl that killed the truck driver on the bridge got off for political reasons. etc. etc. etc. I'm extremely angry at the bums in authority who swore on the Bible to to uphold the Constitution, but lack the courage to do so.....Yes I'm angry, and I will do my part to start the ball rolling in the right direction when I'm elected Sheriff.....I ain't no politician.

Only one problem, the Sheriff takes an oath to uphold the law, ALL laws, not just the ones he or she thinks needs enforcing.
I really think the sheriff thing is not the way to make a change, actually running for Delegate or Senator is the way to make a law change.
They way I see it, as Sheriff, you have to enforce what is on the books and have no say in making the laws since that is the job of the legislature.
I thnk you should run for political office instead!

Dee Lightful......I'm sure you know the story of the shot that was heard around the world. Change has to start somewhere, and what better place than the Sheriff's Office. The Police are our first line of defense when it comes to protecting our civil liberties. We can talk until we're blue in the face, and nothing will change. If Pete Richter says the Constitution is not being followed. So what. If Sheriff Pete Richter says his his Deputies WILL follow the Constitution no matter what the big shots say. It will be a shot heard across the nation.

pete1 You are running for a elected office, that makes you a politician! We are all mad and angry about illegals, sad about the truck driver and are upset at our politicians. How does all this make you hate police? As a sheriff you have to stay in your pay grade, taking care of your officers an the people of the county! Why attack the MSP? Do you plan to start a revolt? Explain please!
