Maria just called me...they have a bottle baby tabby kitten...I can't take it. If anyone can bottle feed....please go to Animal Control and pick the kitten up. Bev's has Kitten milk replacement formula..and bottles...

I am hoping someone took this kitten....Its so sad we can't save them all....but it sure would help if people spayed and neutered their animals...sigh. Its like beating your head against a brick wall...ugh

I hope someone picked this kitten up... Me too. It is so very sad..... Does anyone know if spay now will do gratis work ? Maybe another kind of fundraiser for them, and proceeds go to spay now. It's just so sad that people don't take the responsibility of owning an animal.  If we didn't have 3 dogs a turtle dove and dad to take care of. But we cant and my heart breaks for the little kitten..... Barb, do you know if they called Susan at ARF? |

But we cant and my heart breaks for the little kitten..... Barb, do you know if they called Susan at ARF? No one has picked up the kitten...Maria will be there until 7:00 pm tonight...I asked her if they called ARF and she said they are full...I can't take another kitten...its been a long time since I have done this and I want to focus on just one at the moment. I feel horrible...but I do realize I can't save them all...sigh. I am sad at the moment...and happy because the little gray kitten is purring very loud at the moment for me. |

Can you call Susan at Arf since you know her and see if she can go get that kitten...I'm sure if she called that Maria would wait for her to get there.? I'm going to have nightmares tonight....this is why my husband did not want me to do this again...ahhhhh...I get very attached...and I take on more then I can handle...although the animals don't suffer...but everyone else does. That is why I can only do one kitten at a time unless they come together (as I do not believe in mixing litters because you don't know who is healthy and who is not...its better to keep them separated... nightmares...ugh. |

You're welcome, It just breaks my heart to see an innocent animal put down because of someone's irresponsibility!
I'll call Patty or Susan in a bit, and let you know. Patty had a sense of urgency in her voice when I spoke with her though.

I will, I'm waiting to hear from her shortly. Susan too.... Kudo's to our local Animal Rescue groups and all who dedicate their time, love, energy and money to saving the lives of these wonderful animals! Thanks so much Barb for posting this, you really made a difference this evening! More of a reason for all to go to Island Bay Day as some of the proceeds will go to these wonderful organizations. You can get some gas pills for dogs at Bevs...Had to get them for Axel at one time...they really do work. Barb and 2 Invisible User I am sooo glad you two were able to help this little kitty. It is sad how people dont take care of their pets. I loved after every show of the Price Is Right that Bob Barker would announce to have your pets spayed and neutered.

The little kitten is doing fine and eating mushy baby kitten food. He is in quarantine with a foster home, until he is big enough to move to ARF. If you have room in your home and your heart, please stop by our wonderful animal rescue groups. They are also looking for foster parents. BUT, you may want to keep them after fostering. -CG |
