I'm a news junky, always have been. Read USAToday every morning, Bay Times every Wednesday, look at CNN on line during the day when I can, and in the evening seriously about 2 hours of cable news CNN (no Larry King) and FOX (no Hannity) that I DVR it so I can cherry pick what's relevant to me. I'm in the "Dem camp" as people would say, but I like to see both sides of an issue and will make up my own mind after hearing all points of view. I'm watching O'Reilly last night, Bill and other fox contributers are always making these references toward the liberal news. CBS reported this, CNN reported that, NYTimes whatever, MSNBC ratings are falling, here's where FOX news ratings are, we beat them here.........why, I don't get it. If Fox News thinks everybody else is biased, so be it. I'm sure there are a lot of people who think Fox is biased. We have choices now....watch, read and listen to what appeals to you. Case in point. Remember all the coverage of Michael Jackson's death, like you could miss it. Fox keeps reporting about how all the liberal media is making a big deal about his death. So, the day of his services in CA and the media frenzy that is going on.....Greta is actually there covering all the the news organizations covering of the Michael Jackson death. It came across to me like they are reporting "can you believe all this is going on" even though they were there covering it too. Please 'splain all this to me.

mj.......All news medias are a business first, and a information service second. Truth is third if your lucky.

MJ you said you are in the "Dem Camp" Great you just pointed out that you are very one sided. From your admitted slections of news sources you are not getting both sides of the "story". If you dislike FOX News so much... don't watch it. You make your case and point by saying look at Greta covering the MJ "story" look a little deeper and you see the real story. Our socity is so very shallow that most all the news media are covering the great one MJ. That in it self is sad. So much more is going on in the world than the death of a child molester, drug useing freak show preformer. Now, I hope you did not take any offence to my commet, but I think you will as you are in the "DEM CAMP" and any one who thinks differently then them is a thug, or angry Mob member. That's what Nancy (the true President) says. Now off I go I have to councle some old people and tell them to take the pain medication insted of getting treatment. The morgue is filling up.

That's what Nancy (the true President) says. Now off I go I have to councle some old people and tell them to take the pain medication insted of getting treatment. The morgue is filling up. Am I bashing Fox News. You may need to go back and read my post again slowly. Let me be clear.....I WATCH FOX NEWS EVERY DAY. I like O'Reilly and Greta, I've even met and talked with her once (lives on KI). If I didn't watch Fox, how would I know that there are these references to liberal news and what they are doing. That was my question and the only thing I wanted to hear from others on their thoughts. I don't want to watch a Fox story about a story at CBS, it's why I'm watching Fox. I find it to be odd at times. You read the term "Dem Camp" and immediately assumed some bleeding heart liberal that loves big government, paying high taxes, doesn't support our troops type of crap. People hear someones party association and assume extreme views. I am a democrat, but I don't agree with everything going on in the party. I'm a moderate, always have been......even when I was a republican from 1978 - 1990. I wouldn't think of assuming all republicans are thugs or whatever, it's not true. If I believed that, I would be shallow and closed minded. I do believe though, that extreme views whether left or right are a problem. These partisan politics and the polarizing effects are unrealistic to accomplishing anything that most people can accept and deal with. The moderate republicans and democrats finding common ground and working together will be the ones that actually get something done for our future. One more thing, there is a spell check feature that is available you can use before making a post if you are not aware of it.

I don't watch cable news. I get all my news from news.google.com . For people that actually care about "bias", it's a good way to read the same story covered from multiple angles.

Personally, I can't stand Fox News. Not at the National level or the Local level (I guess thats WBFF 45). Fox has always appeared to be squarely the 'Republican Channel" to me. Plus the in-your-face dramatic news approach doesn't work with me. WJZ went to that style several years ago and I never turned them on again.

I watch Fox for the Republican talking points, MSNBC for the Democratic talking points, BBC news to see what's happening in the rest of the world. Then, like Funnel, I go to Google to try and find the facts.

It is hard to know what is fact and not biased or just a rumor to incite. It is interesting to watch a BBC segment when it's a US political item they are discussing and their perspective of an issue. To me, the BBC doesn't seem to be biased, but who knows. I find factcheck.org to be the best at dispelling fact from fiction.

If there is one gripe I have about Fox, it isn't so much that its right wing biased, its that they are such a joke of a news agency that its sad. They get ratings because they splash a lot of Entertainment Tonight type stories in with the news, and the ignorant masses sop it up like gravy. Their anchors act like morning radio hosts, sloppy ones at that.
Before Fox News, the other news agencies would respond with denial to criticisms that they were left wing biased. Now, they respond with finger pointing at Fox News.
Where is the TV News for people who think both Republicans and Democrats are full of bio-waste and need replaced?
