Anybody try the new Irish pub at the old Blue Water? I have not seen anything on it yet. I love good Irish food. I did try the one at Park Place in Annapolis, very good.

I think you're referring to Finlay's? Actually, 'Irish Pub' probably isn't the most accurate description of the place, but it is definitely worth checking out, though.
Their food is good, and the service was quick. Surprisingly big menu...I HIGHLY recommend the Buffalo Chicken Dip. I know there's been some comments about the decor (or lack thereof) on other threads here, but I asked the owner/bartender about that, and she said since they are just getting started, she's staying flexible on the decor/theme front, and letting the place find it's own vibe. I always enjoy the mix of patrons the place seems to attract. It's never too crowded, but I never fail to meet some really interesting people there.
I really hope they succeed, and I think when the season starts, Finlays will be a hit with the boaters, as well.

That neighborhood is filled with some of the most awesome and interesting people on this tiny little island of ours and they love to have fun at a local bar! That reason alone is enough for me to recommend anyone to give it a try, not to mention I have also heard good things about the food as well.
