I had a good experience, after a crappy experience at Mr. Tire in Annapolis, and needing some new tires I decided to support the local guys and go to Parks. Even though the prices were more, I got good service, tires replaced in a quick time frame and not to mention a free oil change for my birthday.

Check your air-conditioning in several days, here's why;
On two separate occasions, about a year apart, I had work done at Parks on two different cars and within less than a week both cars had mysteriously lost all freon. I returned the cars to Parks who recharge (at a charge) the system with freon and the air-conditioners worked fine after that. Never had a problem with either air-conditioner before going to Parks, and I found it quite strange that this should happen both times! I think it was about $80 to check the AC and recharge. Did they create the leaks, no way to say for sure, but I'll never be going back.

I had the same experience at another shop with my a/c after they replaced the compressor, they found a leak at the compressor and after some slightly informed discussion they fixed it. no charge as it was the shop who caused that leak...
No, it wasn't Western Auto either.
