Scossi is very good. The Annapolis equivalent would probably be Domanica's on Solomon's Island rd (Rte. 2). Easton has some really good restaurants. "General Tanuki's" for sushi / Asian fusion is excellent, the "Rustic Inn" in Talbot Square is a good all-around restaurant, the Washington Street Pub has great sandwiches and burgers and is a cool pub, and the trendy place across the street from Tanuki's ("Firewood" or something like that) is really good too.

Looked at the Sossa menu on the web, and I think I'll pass. $10 for a bowl of soup is a tad out of my price range.

we had lunch today at scossa's again--our second time out, kind of a belated valentine's. yes, it is expensive, but oh my . clearly not the place to drop in any old time, but for a special--wow! i don;t think they have any bad food there. i had a soup of the day--lentil--and a baby arugula salad with shrimp and toasted almonds. the soup was delish, and the salad excellent. i don;t know how they prepare the shrimp, but what a flavor. it's not like they just throw some boiled shrimp on the plate. hubby had an open-face beef and mozzarella sandwich--also excellent. you are waited on by people who know what they are doing--again, overall, a fine experience.

Scossi is great, but wish it were a tad cheaper. I cannot get out of there for less than $100 for two. I love Tanuki's, especially since I'm from Hawaii (go local boys!), but the sashimi is super tiny. My pinky finger looks like a foot next to the portions.

I'll just save Scossa for the politicians, they're the one's that can afford it now. Had to sell my first born and the meal was okay, but if I'm spending over $100, I'll go to Ruths Crist.
