Went to Blue Water with my wife and another couple on Saturday. The food was very good. I had the Rockfish special and my wife had the crabcake on fried green tomatoes. The only complaint was the back room where we sat was warm - need to control the AC a little better. The beer was cold ;D

Went there this weekend and it was fabulous. The margaritas are good and the beer was cold. Two of us had the Maryland Fried chicken (boneless chicken breast) with mashed potatoes and asparagus, one had the NY Strip steak with fries, and one had the salmon with crab, creamed corn and asparagus. It was fantastic. So many good sounding dishes on the menu, we can't wait to go back and try the rest of them!!

We finally gave this place a try, and we'll be back.
Last Friday, July 4, was our second time there. We ordered the burgers again. I can understand why they were voted the best on the Eastern Shore! We also ordered some appetizers that were delicious. I should try something different the next time I go there, the entire menu looked good.
The service was a little slow at the start, but improved greatly by the middle of our meal. Great recovery so no complaints there. And it was a holiday after all.
Good beer selection, great food, good service overall: we'll be back.

I sure hope not, but that location is notorious for that. I suspect someone on the forum has more concrete information.

We were there last week as well for "Mexican night" and I really liked it. The Chimichanga was excellent and the soft tacos were really good. Kudos to the chef!

OK, don't mean to be negative her, but this was our experience. We went to BWT for the 1st time. I thought their menu was very limited and lacking. What was on the menu I thought was a bit over-priced for this place. I ordered the 14oz steak, mashed pot., green beans, $25; wife had the single crab cake w/t sides. The steak was fine, good, not great -had better for $25. The mashed pots were luke warm to cool, gr bns were great. Now the crab cake was the worst crab cake we have ever had, It looked horrible in its presentation on the plate, just lightly tan on the top and white all around, it tasted mushy and mealy, no lump meat, it was shredded meat with strands of spinach in it. My wife couldn't eat it - we've had better from Mrs. Paul's out of a box. Price for this "crablike" $23. To say the least, we won't be back.

My wife and daughter (Saylor) and my parents go to Blue Water all the time, it's like our neighborhood eatery. The food is fantastic - I have only one thing that gets under my skin. Sometimes I take my daughter (2yr) out to dinner because my wifes working and we sit in the dinning area. I'm not able to take advantage of the happy hour specials because I'm not sitting at the bar. - Obviuosly, my daughter is in a high chair! It really would be nice if I could enjoy happy hour prices when I have daddy duty!

Not to be confrontational...but...do you really want to drink and then drive home with your 2 year old? I don't know for certain...but...perhaps that's one of the reasons why they don't offer happy hour prices in the dining area?

Why would you make the assumption my happy hour prices discussion was related to alcohol?? Not true - 1/2 pizza to share with daughter.

I gathered it from your post....the phrases "Happy Hour" and "bar".....If I have made an error, I most certainly apologize. Had I the information you were speaking about food...I wouldn't have asked my question. I certainly intended no insult. Just found it an interesting set of circumstances.

It is to my understanding that Blue Water wanted to do a month to month lease. Not many property owners would do that for a business. As the owners of the building is also running a business.
Sorry they are leaving, but if they are in fact going to Rehobeth, the beach has so many wonderful restaurants, and year round residents. I'm sure they will do great where ever they go.

Whats the deal in the men's bathroom. Raw sewage dripping into a five gallon bucket. I think that if I were a tenant I would be a little upset with the landlord for not fixing the problem. I'm sure the health department would love to see that.

There's been that sewage problem for as long as I can remember. Meaghan's used to be the same way - and so was the place before that.
