I went today to have my nails and toes done (have to look nice for Bay Day ...and let me tell you Jenny did a Fantastic Job. They are renovating the shop and it should be really nice once they are done. Lee the owner is a really nice person also. I always had John do my nails...however he is no longer there and I am super picky on how my nails are done. I would highly recommend Jenny. Barb

I think Jenny used to work for T nails. She used to do my nails and I loved her. She is Fantastic!! She has been there for a while..since maybe the middle of summer. I am happy. I come all the way to Kent Island to have my nails done because I absolutely will not give my business to the Nail place in Centreville. You're welcome Barb

Yes I think that is her because she left T nails around that time. They didnt say what happend to her.
I liked T nails because you could choose the color of your fill and it lasts so much longer than paint. But you have to get someone who does it right. Tony and Jenny were the only 2 there that could do it right, now that they are gone, I havent gone there.

You should see the new stuff they have at nails 50...its Color (blues greens pinks reds etc...and sparkly stuff) that is acrylic. You are young enough to take advantage of that..its too sparkly for me. I am surprised that nails 50 didn't advertise where jenny went...I'll have to mention something to Lee when I go back in 2 weeks. Barb

Yes that is the stuff!
I used to go to nails 50 because they are right next to my work (R's). Then I found the new acrylic and Jenny (she does an awesome job at the color acrylic) at T nails and I fell in love. I was leaving work one day and they were outside and they asked me why I stopped coming there. I showed them my nails and I told them that if they got the color acrylic I would start going there again.
Then after Jenny left T nails I stopped going there because they started doing a really crappy job on my nails. I could look underneath my nails and see all of the previous colors that I had. So ever since then I have been going to a place right by my full time job at the USDA.
I would love to go back to Jenny, and I am!

Any feedback on Maxi nails? I go to the one in Annapolis & the girl there does a great job but sometimes its a pain to go across the bridge just for my nails. Do they a good job at the 1 here?

If that is the place that is near where the Sears used to be (kind of across from bakers liquors)...I didn't have any luck there. There is a place in the Kmart mall...not sure who they are or how they do. I did however seem some not so happy girls waiting out front because the people weren't there to open up at 10:00..and it was 10:30. Barb

Sharon. If your looking for a good place in Annapolis. I highly recommend a place in the mall. It's right next to JcPennys where the shoe store use to be. Im sorry I forget the name of it. But it's not the one right out side of Lord and Taylor.
I have been every where from easton to Baltimore and fell with that place. Every single person in there does a awesome

I find that nail salons in malls are very pricey.
What are the prices like in Annapolis mall next to JC Penny?

Oh dont get me wrong. I like the gal I go to over in Riva & her prices are good. She was actually who told me they have another salon over here. I was just wondering if anyone had been to the one here. I would go here if the quality was the same but if not then Ill make the trip over the bridge. It was just a convienence thing but thanks ladies. : )

I go to Annapolis, I am very please with the group that do my nails, at the mall, the one by Bubble Hair and Sbarros.... I pay 18 for fills, but I don't do tips cause I have them just acryllic my own nails (yes my own nails are that long), and I throw a pedicure in there every month and average about $64 a month before tip... Well worth it!

I dont really like to go to Annapolis unless I have to. Nails 50 does a pretty good job, but I think they kind of slack on the acrylic, when ever I get my nails done there they tend to break.

Ok, I went and tried Nails 50 this week when I got back from West Virginia, no desire to leave the Island at all this weekend and my nails needed tending....
In two weeks Ill go back for a fill and make a final decision because it will be time for a pedicure, and man, it would be so much easier than running to Annapolis.
They did a great job on my nails!!! But they need to have a little more colors to choose from.
Ya'll got my interests peaked about color acrylics...I have never heard of it....Tell me more...tell me more...

The color acrylics are amazing. You pick out a color and they on put it on the tip of your nail, then they use the pink or white powder on the rest of the nail. Its a little more expensive than a regular fill in, but it lasts so much longer than a regular fill in, and it doesnt chip off like paint. When you are ready for a new color they sand the old color away and apply the new color. Its amazing.

SO is the nail all one color or just the tips? Cause I don't like the french manicure look... I like all one color......
