I just want to comment on how wonderful Kent Drugs was to me. My little boy was very sick and needed a nebulizer, they are the only pharmacy that has them in stock. I pulled up and the pharmacist noticed I had my son with me and told me to stay in the car and she would take care of everything from there. I waited about 15 minutes for her to fill everything. She came out and explained everything about all the drugs he was taking.
I normally go to CVS to fill any meds I have, but the pharmacist told me if I need to fill anything else that they were going to start offering curb side service, so that may change my mind.
Kent Drugs was an awesome experience for me.

Kent Drugs is awesome. I've been really impressed with them. I ended up using them because of insurance, and I've been pleasantly surprised.

I agree, Kent Drugs is a great place. I hope the new Walgreens that is going to be built on the vacant lot will not hurt them do much. Three drugstores at one intersection.......

A new Walgreens at that site has been approved. Read it in the Bay Times a month or so ago. I believe Walgreens will be keeping the other store open too. It will be nice to keep Kent Drugs going to maintain that local feel.

My wife & I used them years ago, but quit when she had to have several surgeries, and they did not carry some of the pain relief medications she needed. I was told they didn't carry certain narcotic drugs because of concerns about robbery or burglary. I understood the concerns, but I didn't want to use multiple pharmacies, so we took all the prescriptions elsewhere. But I do have nothing but great things to say about the people that worked there.

So the Chester growth committee thought it would be a good thing to have 3 pharmacy's at the same intersection....I think someone needs to be fired. I used to love Happy Harry's...they had such cute little things...but now that Walgreens has taken over...my Happy Harry's up in Centreville has gotten sloppy. They replaced most of the cute unusual things with cheap garbage...ugh Kent Drugs survived the Rite Aid invasion...so hopefully they will survive the Walgreens invasion. They are more hands on when you need medical supplies...I liked that.(I am talking about Kent Drugs) Barb...

Next time we need prescriptions filled,I will have to try Kent Drugs. We need to keep the small/family owned businesses alive and kicking.

You couldn't PAY me to use RiteAid...Kent Drugs is a wonderful local pharmacy and the ONLY reason I go anywhere else (if and when that happens) is that they don't have what I need at the moment....Kent Drugs rocks plain and simple!

Correct you are SG68 on Rite Aid......UGH.
Another good local drug store is Edwards in Centreville on Main Street. They make and sell a product called "Edwards Medi-Summer Gel" that works awesome on insect bites, poison ivy....great for any kind of skin irritation. Comes in a small container you dip your finger in to get to.

I had SO MANY bad experiences at Rite Aid. I'd call to get a refill, they'd say it'd be done in an hour or two, would call back in an hour or two, they'd say the same thing... It would sometimes take days to get a refill of a medication they had in stock--nevermind my medication that had to be special ordered!

I would have to say the worst is Kmart. Not to go into to much detail but the issues I had with them i had to have the police involved. I use CVS and have had no problems. Really like the people there. And very fast service.
