OMG what a hidden treasure in Old Stevensville. I went there for a pedicure for an hour and a half.....ahhhhh, what a relaxing and professional atmosphere..... They have the cutest sandals for only $26.00 with bows at the check out if you want some. I bought the wrong size, but will be back on Tuesday ! They are a full service spa. Massages, facials, hair, nails, botox, peels etc. And to top it off what an elegant atmosphere they have !

I wasn't impressed by a massage I got there. Besides leaving with a leg cramp -- yes, I told her I have sensitive hamstrings, the room was too bright and I could hear all the noise from the spa outside the room. It wasn't a great experience for me. YMMV.

Had another pedicure there again today. It is well worth the $, it was 1 1/2 hours long in comfy chairs, a sugar scrub on your calves then a massage on the calves. What a treat !

I have heard many people rave about their services. I got an entire spa package last year as a gift, and it was the worst massage, mud bath, and haircut I ever received. The facial was the best part of it. Everyone is different though, and other than my own experience I have only known people who enjoyed their services.

how much are their pedi's. I'm tired of paying $65.00 for one at Robert Andrews in Crofton

I've been there a couple times for pedicures, pretty good, but no bargain. What I didnt like was that one of the times I had a gift card and they wouldnt let me put the tip on there so I had to fork out cash for the tip. Whats the point of a gift if all the expenses cant be put on there and the recipient has to use their own $$ ?? Terrible policy.

Well, I guess they figure you are basically getting premium services for "free" (as you received the gift card as a..well...gift) and coming up off some cash for a tip shouldn't be a problem. Just about every gift certificate I have seen includes taxes...but never gratuities.

What's weird is that I was given a gift card for a spa package (hairstyle, massage, facial, lunch, and mud bath) in May 2007. The person who gave it to me pointed out to me that it included the gratuity. I used the gift card in June 2007, and I was told by the cashier that it did indeed include gratuity, so I didn't have to pay anything at all. Not one dime! Woo hoo!!! ;D

Wow! Then I bow to the correction! That's cool shoregurl! I have never had the occasion to either give or receive one that did....now I have "tip" envy!! LOL!!

Most likely when the person who purchased the gift card added the tip to the gift card.
I believe in special services like that you could include the tip...
But until you recieved services, why would you prepay a tip?

LOL SG, I know! That is the only time that I can ever recall that tip was included on the gift card. The person that gave it to me said, "The tip is included on that card. Don't let them tell you that it is not." Of course, the place is definitely reputable and they never once tried to tell me that the tip was not included. While I did not like the services (worst massage, etc, that I ever received), I LOVED the lunch they served me, and the entire staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond the norm in their attitudes and professionalism.

I think that is why the "tip included" thing is rare...I know when I get a gift cert/card, etc., I usually wind up getting more than the card/cert is for because there might be things I haven't purchased due to cost or whatever....THEN I know how much to tip. But, I do suppose it is possible *has terrible urge to go get pedi/massage today...* I am SO gonna blame you guys for this!! LOL
