So I just had dinner there and I wanted to tell everyone about it. It's good! Better than I expected it to be! It's a very nice place. The sushi was very good. The prices were pretty fair. I only have the sushi in Columbia, MD to compare the prices too. Columbia is way overpriced as it is! Anyway, if you're looking for decent sushi and a nice place to have dinner, give it a shot! Ok, just wanted to put it out there! Oh, for those that don't eat sushi, they have tons of different items on the menu....COOKED items! It all looks very good too!

Columbia is always gonna be overpriced compared to most anything (too "DC"). Thanks for the info, Leslie. I hope to check out Ichiban(Plus, I gotta appreciate someone who shares my "real" first name! :-)

What are the other foods served if I don't eat sushi? You mentioned prices $ $$ or $$$?

They have lots of fish dishes, lots of teriyaki dishes and tempura dishes. They have Ichiban noodles and fried rice. They had a yummy looking shrimp dish pictured on the menu. Lots of good stuff. It's not just sushi. You can usually find all kinds of different things at a sushi restaurant. Oh, and by the way not all sushi is raw. I don't eat raw fish. I've tried it and I just don't care for it. I only get the cooked sushi (which I know a lot of sushi fans say isn't real sushi). Try a cucumber roll or a California roll or a boston roll. They even have a sweet potato roll. All are yummy. Bon Appetit!

Thought I would give them a try for lunch today. Hoping they would be on there game being they just opened. Well I was VERY DISAPOINTED. I ordered the lunch special which came with miso soup, salad and choice of two rolls along with a spider roll and surf calm. I had the California and tuna roll with the special. Well I’ve had better pre-made from Safeway. Not to mention the presentation was a joke, coming out on a clear dinner plate. The spider roll maybe had one quarter of a soft crab in it. The surf clam wasn’t bad. The miso soup and salad came after I had to ask if it came with the lunch special. Well I don’t know what tasted worse, the soup or the sewage spill on Cox Creek. I hope they correct the problems and can make it work. Time will tell.
