So, went to R's for lunch today, one word.. WOW
Talking about good.
The Salsa was EXCELLENT.
I got the Chicken Nachos, at first I was like wow $9.95 for this, but I ended up only being able to eat 3/4's of it.
Everything was incredible.
Joe (Server) was awesome, the bussers / chip lady was good, quick to bring salsa refills and drink refills, she was helping out the waiter in every way.
Everyone has to try R's again, the menu looks good as well.

Went to R's for the first time 3 weeks ago with the wife on Saturday night around 8pm. Sat on the bar side, Stephanie? was the server. Experience was great. Salsa & chips are yum, had the flat bread pizza with chicken-yum there too. Service good, beer cold, price reasonable.
Tried to go to R's the following week on Friday night at around 8pm again. Very busy, sat at a table for about 15 minutes, no one served us, we left. Walked over to Luke's. Usual good pub food, guy playing music was blasting it though, couldn't talk to people.
Tried R's a third time last night. It was awesome. I like the odds so far. Two out of three is not bad. Going to keep trying it out.

Did someone mention salsa? I posted my recipe online a while ago for a suggestion for R's, and maybe just maybe they took my hint. It is very simple to make and tastes just like R's, or mine : Salsa 1 sm green pepper finely chopped 1/2 lg. white onion finely chopped 1 can stewed tomatoes ___________________________ Pour 1/2 can of stewed tomatoes into a blender add 2 chopped cloves of garlic 1 tsp. of ground cumin 3 4" long hot chili peppers finely chopped Run blender until puree Add onion, pepper, 1/2 can of stewed tomatoes into blender on low. ENJOY ! And to make it exactly like R's add chopped cilantro onto the top for serving. Bon Appetite. -CG PS, and for great con queso, heat some of the salsa and Velveta cheese in the microwave, yummy !

It was only a matter of time before R's finally got it right. Let's just hope they stick with it. Rick, the owner, genuinely wants to do it and do it right, it has just taken him several tries with different menus, chefs, and management. I managed the bar there for a few months this year and felt bad for the guy, but I always had a feeling he'd figure it out, due to his care.

I went back again tonoght (sunday) and it was very good The stuffed jalepenoes are awesome and the chicken mole' is very good! The Mrs. had enchelladas and they were also very good. If you haven't been there with the new chef, you really need to give it a try. This is a major improvement and I can't say enogh good things about it!

I was there tonite also!! Very nice. Quick service. Great chips and salsa. Everybody at my table enjoyed their dish.. no complaints.. there was 5 adults, one teenager, and two toddlers.. a handful but the waitress was very pleasant and efficient. My only complaint.. and I whined about this before. .. why do I have to pay $6 for an RGarita on the restaurant side when I can get it for $1 at the bar? I mean come on, we had toddlers with us and spent a bunch on dinner.. and I have to pay an extra $5 for a margarita?? I think this is a stupid policy. Other than that, R's was great tonite.. except for the Steelers game.. the dummies gave it away.. Best regards, BC PS, thanks to the clown who was face painting and making balloons for the kids..

I did get the stuffed jalapenos, since Rich raved about them, they were good.
