Well its been awhile since we went out to dinner. Yesterday afternoon hubby said after seeing this info on line, 'ya wanna go to Harra's for dinner. They have all you can eat ribs/shrimp fri-sun.'
Yeah sure. On the way there we heard on the radio similar add only the ribs/shrimp wasnt fri-sun & fri was all you can eat oysters (YUCK).
When we got there we were asked are you here for the oyster buffet we said no the ribs/shrimp all you can eat. Oh well thats not tonight. I then explained we say it on the website & she said well it was that way but no longer. Well I was a bit piss*d because that was specifically why we went there. She said 'oh well we dont always update our site.
Oh so thats my problem right! I make the trip there for something I see specific which you dont have because you dont update your site. At this point I think we should at least be offered that special at that rate. Well no. Personally I would have left but hubby said no we'll stay & just choose off the menu.
Well as it turned out we got the lesser of the evil deals. I got the 1/2 rack w/ shrimp, fries- because baked potato wasnt 1 of the choices or so we were told, corn on the cob & coffee. Hubby got 2 lbs ribs, fries-same reason, corn & ice tea. We also ordered onion rings.
Well we got our drinks then after almost 30 mins I had to flag down a different waitress to get more coffee. The rings came & they were cold & seriously oil soaked. 25 mins later dinner came. Fries ice cold, ribs burnt more than just seared & the shrimp were cold & sucked.
Our bill was actually less than if we had gotten the original all you can eat & that is the only good thing I can say about this visit.
We wont be going back. The last time we went there it wasnt all the good but it wasnt this bad so Im done.
I can only hope Adams ribs & Cracker Barrel will be up to par.
