It SUCKS. In the last storm we had someone tagged the rear 1/4 panel on my F250. My son has a good friend at Enterprise who recommended Severn Auto Body on Chinquapin so we took the truck there. Well let me tell you I will never go there again.
After I dropped off the truck I realized I had forgotten my garage door clicker so after I finished my shopping I went back. The truck was parked out in the lot & it was open. I got my clicker & locked the truck back up. No one was around for me to complain to at that time so I waited til I picked up the truck. Well I picked up the truck yesterday & when I opened it the inside had been gone through. The glove box had been gone through. The manual case was out of the case & all the papers in there were just jammed back in the box. The console had been turned upside down. I have a small bag in there with a new CPR mask, scissors, window punch some gloves, bandages & tape. All dumped out. The change was gone from in there as well as the gps, case & dash stand, which was on the bottom of the console with gloves & everything else on top of it. I was pissed. When I went back in & told RANDY, the office manager. He copped an attitude saying they have a lot of vehicles to be responsible for & they cant pull them all inside. All he can say is 'sorry' I can pay you for a new mask. Nothing about the GPS. WTF! He then stated that maybe the reason things were shuffled through was that they were looking for the paint codes. Excuse me but the codes are on the door not in the bottom of the console. Of course someone is going to say the GPS shouldnt have been left in there & perhaps you are right but it is a working vehicle & since it wasnt snowing it didnt cross my mind. I didnt expect the vehicle to be left open. Then when I left I heard the warning bell on the gas gage. My gas gage was on warning 23 miles to empty. AGAIN WTF. It was just filled on tues. I stopped & got gas & it took 23 gals in a 24 gal tank. Where did my gas go? The mileage was increased by 185 miles.
Im not sure exactly what Im going to do about this but for now Im advising people to NOT GO THERE. As far as Im concerned they are NOT a responsible service.
Only partial good was that the body work itself was ok although I do have a light strip below the tailgate that they failed to connect properly when they replaced the tailgate, so it doesnt work.
