So, what do you think about this. The Colts have had time to rest, heal and stratagize. But, the Ravens have their mojo going and are all fired up.

We give Peyton a hard time whenever we meet up with them. My biggest concern is losing to ourselves. Penalties and sloppy playing on our part are things that Manning has, and will, capitalize on. I am certain that Manning has been pouring over the tapes of our last few games and making notes of our strengths and weaknesses. However, I am also just as certain that we have been doing the same thing. The Manning era Colts have won only one Super Bowl and then as a wild card team with no rest or breaks. The other times they have had a bi-week and breaks they were knocked out in the first round. The Colt's offense is based solely on timing and precision against their opponent. That timing and precision simply cannot be duplicated in practices. They do have a couple of little fast backs on their offense that we will need to contain and control. The Ravens have a big, meaty offense with a very impressive running game and Flaco's throwing game is continuing to be impressive when he can connect with Mason, Heap, Washington, etc... And, hey, you know what fluffy, warm kittens our Defense are Bring it on. Bring. It. On.

i have to say i'm looking forward to this game! I'm hoping it's going to be a really good game! two very competitive teams and two good teams... you have peyton who is without a doubt one of the best QB's we've seen in many years you have flacco who is without a doubt an impressive QB that with some more experience under his belt could have the 'legacy' that manning has as well as many other excellent QB's Then you have the ravens defense... which by itself is a phenom...
I'm really looking forward to seeing this game I just hope it isn't a shut out on either side & is a good, evenly played game!

Good analysis spdg68. You covered the one key item I also believe is critical, and that's penalties. Whatever the reason(s) that cause them doesn't matter now, well ok it does, but at this point it's man up time. They just need to be kept to a minimum so they're not hurting themselves.
The Ravens can beat the Colts, I believe it!
