Yes, I see the trend. A continuation of rising unemployment throughout the Obama administration despite a trillion dollars spend to reverse the trend. The new administration has been in place almost two years now. Lets look at the trend on the link I posted from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics from 2000 through present. It contains a series of ups and downs, and then huge ups during the current administration. You can't look at a small piece of the puzzle to get the big picture.

With the exception of core Obama Administration loyalists, most politically engaged elites have reached the same conclusions: the White House is in over its head, isolated, insular, arrogant and clueless about how to get along with or persuade members of Congress, the media, the business community or working-class voters. This view is held by Fox News pundits, executives and anchors at the major old-media outlets, reporters who cover the White House, Democratic and Republican congressional leaders and governors, many Democratic business people and lawyers who raised big money for Obama in 2008, and even some members of the Administration just beyond the inner circle. Poll: Many Obama 2008 supporters defecting to GOP Nearly two years after putting Obama in the White House, one-quarter of those who voted for the Democrat are defecting to the GOP or considering voting against the party in power this fall. Just half of them say they definitely will show up Nov. 2, according to an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks poll released two weeks before Obama's first midterm elections. www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9ITESH80&show_article=1

Hot air? White House takes credit for Bush-era wind farm jobs WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is crediting its anti-recession stimulus plan with creating up to 50,000 jobs on dozens of wind farms, even though many of those wind farms were built before the stimulus money began to flow or even before President Barack Obama was inaugurated. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39759042/ns/business/

I know folks. It's a gosh darn shame that Obama can't hire 1 million+ folks who are unemployed. Deep Sea, Frank, you all should be very angry with Obama! The darn nerve of him. Of course I don't see you harping on Wall Street who got a very sweet Tarp deal, that also went to banks and other lenders. Of course you are not angry at the corporations who appear to be hoarding their cash instead of hiring. Of course I don't see you two screaming in anger about the billions being thrown down the sh*t hole for those two wars still going on in Iraq, and Aafghanistan. Of course, it's Obama's fault. Took 9+ years to get where this country is at today, but it's Obama's fault. 139 banks have failed so far this year. Obama! Darn you!! :-)

Barack and Michelle's Mumbai darshan plans Wonder who is paying for this? To ensure fool-proof security, the President’s team has booked the entire the Taj Mahal Hotel, including 570 rooms, all banquets and restaurants. Since his security contingent and staff will comprise a huge number, 125 rooms at Taj President have also been booked, apart from 80 to 90 rooms each in Grand Hyatt and The Oberoi hotels. The NCPA, where the President is expected to meet representatives from the business community, has also been entirely booked. The officer said, “Obama’s contingent is huge. There are two jumbo jets coming along with Air Force One, which will be flanked by security jets. There will be 30 to 40 secret service agents, who will arrive before him. The President’s convoy has 45 cars, including the Lincoln Continental in which the President travels.” Since Obama will stay in a hotel that is on sea front, elaborate coastal security arrangements have been made by the US Navy in consonance with the Indian Navy and the Coast Guard. “There will be US naval ships, along with Indian vessels , patrolling the sea till about 330-km from the shore. This is to negate the possibility of a missile being fired from a distance,” the officer said. The President will be accompanied by his chefs, not because he would not like to savour Indian cuisine, but to ensure his food is not spiked. US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to land in Mumbai on November 6. economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics/nation/Barack-and-Michelles-Mumbai-darshan-plans/articleshow/6797379.cms

I am just realistic, and happen to enjoy how folks like you who tend to ignore and forget history, and would rather relive it rather than attempt to change it. Just like the real estate market that was bubbling, and burbling, and broiling and just ready to explode/implode, during who's second term? As the man and woman said, we knew it was going to take time, just more time than was anticipated.

Obama omits 'Creator' from Declaration rights language again As wonderful as the land is here in the United States, as much as we have been blessed by the bounty of this magnificent continent that stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific, what makes this place special is not something physical. It has to do with this idea that was started by 13 colonies that decided to throw off the yoke of an empire, and said, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that each of us are endowed with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." www.marklevinshow.com/goout.asp?u=http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2010/10/obama_omits_creator_from_decla.html

Took 9+ years to get where this country is at today, but it's Obama's fault. 139 banks have failed so far this year. Obama! Darn you!! :-) Back to work this morning and . . . . . . . WOW! Why not add the unemployed to the government payroll. Government takes over big business as well. They don't need all they have. Everyone can make the same amount. Spread the wealth evenly. We all make enough to survive. Hard workers lose their interest to work hard. Nobody makes more money from coming up with new ideas or inventions, so nothing changes. The country is soon ripe for foreign takeover and we are speaking chinese in a few years. Wouldn't that be great! And who's not angry with wall street? or government bailouts? or bonuses? Seriously? I can't blame businesses for hoarding cash. Why didn't congress finish before going home? That would put big business comfortable in knowing where they will be in 2011. But they didn't. They went home because they were worried about re-election, not the best interest for the American people. They all need to be replaced. I am not a Bush lover, or Obama hater. I believe in doing what's right by the American people. Obama knew what he was getting in to when he was campaigning, and he had a plan. The people voted him in based on what he promised, and he hasn't delivered. It's not about race, or democrat/republican, or his questionable friends. He has become every other politician, making decisions to benefit those who helped him get elected, not the best interest of the American people. What do you think about the way the stimulus money was spent? Was it worth it to have your children and grandchildren pay for it? Remember the stimulus bill would keep unemployment below 8%? Giving the money to unions and special interest groups wasn't going to accomplish this. It was a lie. Where is the open goverment? The end of earmarks? Open for public opinion for five days before signing bills? It really seems like Chicago politics on a much larger scale, and with yours and my money. How about healthcare? He promised to televise the progress of health care reform on CNN to insure the American people were involved with every step. Instead, it was forced on the American people without any explanation or exposure. In fact, Pelosi said "Just sign it. You'll find out what's in it later". What kind of politics is that? The war is not Obama's fault, but he did tell us how he was going to handle it. "As president, within the first year, I will close the detention facility at Guantanamo." Well? What about ending penalties for families withdrawing from their retirement accounts due to hardship? Didn't happen. Her said he would allow backruptcy judges to modify home mortgages to allow homeowners to keep their homes. Didn't happen. What about ending income tax for seniors making less than $50,000? Didn't happen. (Yeah, that's my parents) What about his promise to re-establish the National Aeronautics and Space Council? Continue our space program? NASA is now working on enhancing Muslim/American relations. "I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."Just do what you promised while campaigning, and I'm cool with just about anyone.

Many promises are made while on the campaign trail. Many were made, and not kept by our last elected Pres. yet he was elected to a second term. Granted, and here is where I agree with you, Obama spoke a great game, and I sincerly believed what he was saying. But I have the feeling Obama quickly learned that big business, as well as big power controls are government. The folks with the most cash gets the votes. In return...well

Lets not forget about Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, the terrorist friends of Barack Hussein Obama! “There’s something about a good bomb … Night after night, day after day, each majestic scene I witnessed was so terrible and so unexpected that no city would ever again stand innocently fixed in my mind. Big buildings and wide streets, cement and steel were no longer permanent. They, too, were fragile and destructible. A torch, a bomb, a strong enough wind, and they, too, would come undone or get knocked down.” www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=2169
