We noticed the McDonald's in Centreville was closed yesterday and it looks like part of the building had caught on fire. Any idea how badly damaged the building is and when it will reopen?

No ideas about the answers to your questions.
I wonder where the people who normally frequent McD's will go in the interim, and will they go back just for the cheaper food, or stick with the better stuff after getting used to it.

yes, there sure was a fire. Think it started or had to do with the electric and some how ignited the fryers....so yeah i believe they will be down for awhile...depending on how quick they can clean up and fix it.

There was a fire at the Elkridge McDonalds and it was down for several (6+) months. They ended up doing a complete remodel as well.

Sorry for the employees to hear there was a fire, but it is time for a remodel of the Centreville Mickey D's..
And I don't think people will "stick with the better stuff".. in my mind, you really have to give Mc'D's credit. The business model has worked for long time and for the most part their food is consistent and tasty.
Let's hope the people who work there get back on the job real quick.
Best regards, BC

About two weeks after the fire, I was driving by and there were two cars sitting at the drive-thru menu board. They had to drive through the "Do Not Enter" tape to get to it! It was too funny!
