C'mon Deep Sea, this is just a few thousand isolated cases. Everybody knows Muslims are peaceful, and they'll kill anyone that says differently!

Fear and xenophobia. Will this ever leave America? No, it will not ever leave America. Nor, will it ever leave anywhere mankind survives.. Suspicion of anything or anyone different from you, even if it is only genitalia, is human nature. Best regards, BC

Honour killings shouldn’t go unpunished As the Prophet Mohamed could not prove the innocence of his beloved wife and daughter of his closest friend, he resorted to Allah for help, which came in the form of this revelation. It warned the Muslims to never make such an allegation against a Muslim woman without clear evidence and four witnesses, twice those required for business transactions or even in murder cases. Thus, the strong penalty specified at the beginning of this sura against women and men guilty of the sinful act of zena (fornication) that they be flogged with a hundred lashes is intended as a deterrent rather than as an enforcement of the punishment. It is no secret that Islam was meant to strengthen good morals among the believers and force them to give up behaviour that prevailed in pagan society. Some Western liberals today believe that curbing women from enjoying their sexual freedom is violating their human rights. In Islam, however, sexual relations outside the institution of marriage are seen as violating the basic human rights of women, especially given that marriage in Islam is easy to fulfil and does not include stringent conditions. www.egyptiangazette.net/news-12764-%20Honour%20killings%20shouldn’t%20go%20unpunished.html

Fear and xenophobia. Will this ever leave America? I think you've never left America when you make a statement like that.

Fear and xenophobia. Will this ever leave America? Not as long as there's a radical element hell bent on wiping us off the map. Let me guess, I should be tolerant.......

Fear and xenophobia. Will this ever leave America? I think you've never left America when you make a statement like that. I agree with that! In my travels in several middle eastern countries, I have seen things done to women that i only wish I could forget. On a couple occasions when i could have brought my wife along with me for a week or two - I refuse to do it. It would have made her totally ill to see such things. People need to wake up and open their eyes - and pay attention. All this mamsy-pamsy attitude we have in the states can only lead to turning away from the same exact thing when it happens here.
