This is to funny! ;D Oprah wants 'respect' for Obama Oprah called on President Obama's critics on Friday to “show some level of respect.” "I feel that everybody has a learning curve, and I feel that the reason why I was willing to step out for him was because I believed in his integrity and I believed in his heart," the influential TV host said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” in Chicago. Of the negative mood of the country, Oprah added, “I think everybody complaining ought to try it for once.” www.politico.com/politico44/perm/0211/just_a_little_bit_868941d7-3826-4a53-9390-43550fabcd93.html

Too funny. Where was she when the flaming liberal brigade was calling George Bush a nazi? Where was she when Bush was depicted as a Chimpanzee in the Washington Post political cartoons... it's fine to disrespect the office of the President and the President himself if your party isn't in power --> That's the message Oprah is giving out.... she's a piece of work. Get over yourself Oprah, you're a washed up talk show host.

Yeah, pretty unbelievable. Is it getting a little too hot for Obama? He asked for the job. He had a plan. He could talk the talk, time to walk the walk. "Oprah, everyone is picking on me. Can you give me a shout-out on your show?" Good grief, act presidential!

I think people in show business should stay in show business. They think they know everything since they have money.

I think people in show business should stay in show business. They think they know everything since they have money. Right. People who entertain for a living should stick to entertaining. There are plenty of poor celebrities because they think because they are famous, they are smart, and can invest their millions wisely. I'll take advice from people who are smart, and make a living from being smart. I can't stand it when celebrities think they can tell me who to vote for. They've never lived in the real working world.

What about Ronald Reagan (Actor) - President of the United States; Sonny Bono (Sonny & Cher) - Congressman; Fred Grandy (Gopher from Loveboat) - Congressman; Fred Thompson (Law & Order) U.S Senator; Clint Eastwood (Actor) - Mayor; Arnold Scharzenegger (Actor) - Governer; Jesse Ventura (Actor/Wrestler) - Governer; Marth Reeves (singer, Matha & the Vandellas) - City Council and lets not forget Jerry Springer (Mayor) and Al Franken (US Senator). Some of the above did ok, some didn't. I'm sure I left more than a few out.

With the exception of Ronald Reagan, former President of the United States of America - you are showing your age - or lack of it. The rest on your list don't hold a candle.
