Going as fast as you can from point A to point B is their nature, I'm ok with that. But, there are rules and they are being violated big time. Sunday, I'm tied up in my slip on my creek, doing a couple of pm items. Wave runners going by as fast as possible close to my dock and others as well. Again, I'm ok with that to a point. But then what happens, there's a very small cove right next to me where these people are going round and round and round in circles creating huge wakes rocking the heck out of my boat.....try working in the bilge when that's going on. Do it out in eastern bay!!! The second thing, ever go through the narrows on the south side when big boats are powering up creating huge wakes.....you got jet skiers going between boats catching the wakes, all is good right up to the point they fall off right in front of you when you're under "power" with other boats approaching you. They're going to get run over!!! DNR, where are you? The two boats are always in their slips at Piney Narrows, is no one working the weekends? www.dnr.state.md.us/boating/safety/pwc.asp

Photos and hull #'s work just fine. They WILL call the owners ( Parents) and talk to them. I kind of know this one first hand.

Hey let me know when they do this.. I know one of the local guys and he will handle the problem and if you get pictures and numbers he will give out tickets... CALL CALL CALL there are very few of them around and they can't be everywhere all the time...plus there are other boats besides the ones in the narrows they use so beware just because they are in the slip does not mean they are not in one of the other boats.

Glad to see this hasn't turned into a jet ski bashing thread. Some of us do obey the rules and practice common courtesy. I agree many younger operators have no regard for their surroundings. I have witnessed first hand. I love going 60+ on OPEN water with 135 HP under my a$$ but at my age (over 60) I also appreciate slow cruising in our local creeks. I guess thats why I get so many less than appreciative looks from the waterfront homeowners.
