That is one way to call a bluff, but you already have a contract in place until the end of the year, play it out. Sort of side with Management on it.

The Nats were a mediocre team at best until the recent winning streak. I don't blame them for not addressing the contract before now.

To put together a string of wins and demand a contract extension was an understandable business move by Riggleman but quitting mid-season when you don't immediately get your way is childish and irresponsible.
