Squisito takes it hands down. Never a bad pie. In fairness, I've not tried La Piazza, Short Stop, or Colliseum yet. Is Colliseum a chain place? I kind of remeber seeing one somewhere else.

Its a tough call between Squisitos, Carinis, and La Fontana, but I think that La Fontana eeks it out by a hair. All 3 are great though As a former NY'er, that says a lot.

You gotta look at what you're comparing. To get a slice at Carini's that has been on the counter for two hours and then re-heated, vs getting a fresh, made to order pizza is a big difference. I usually stop by LaFontana and get a slice and it's pretty good. Last time i was with some friends and we got a whole pizza and what a difference! I didn't know No Place sold pizza, but I guess I'll have to give them a try.

Ledo's tastes like the pizza that my Mom made at home in the 70's, and that's not good. Pizza should be a big triangle slice, with thin peparoni, extra cheese, and just enough greese to drip out the back when you fold it over. That's the ticket

What is real to you people? Think ledo is original, or is it American style pizza? Do you think Ledo and Sqiuisito or Carini or Short Stop pizza is?
When La Fontana real Italian ristorante runs the restaurant with Italian people - and give I talk to the vico sal and maniela or you like Mexican-Italian food? You people slow down and enjoy the food.
Ledo and Sqiuisito, or Carini or Short Stop pizza when La Fontana has real Italian people?

I like Pizza Hut Pizza...but not the one here on the Island. Nasty........Nasty........
When we were stationed in Germany, we used to live near the best Pizza place in the world.....The best pizza was the one with the Fried Egg on it... sounds weird...but it was awesome!!! But the German Pizza Hut....awesome! (could be any tho any pizza close to American style would be awesome...after 7 years...)
Anyway....my vote goes to Squisito's!!!!!

Went to Ledo's tonight ... ON YOUR RECOMENDATION !!
Aweful. I think my $12 Buffalo Chicken Pizza had about 1 mouthful of chicken. About 1/3 of the square slices had NO chicken. I asked the waitress and she said they have to WEIGH the chicken to put on the right amount, and everyone says its not very much.
NO MORE LEDOS
Next week Ill try Squsito's.

Went to Ledo's last night. Excellent! Nothing better than their thick-cut pepperoni pizza. No, it's not NY style, but it's not supposed to be. Sometime you just have a taste for their pizza.

Who in the world orders buffalo chicken on a pizza. That's like ordering nachos with potato skins on top.... they're two different things that don't belong together. Go back and get peperoni & sausage and I bet you'll like it much better

Hehe. I know. But my wife said that the Buffalo Chicken Calzone at Ledo's was awesome, so I figured the pizza would be too.
So next time I need to get the sausage, pepperoni and bacon Ledos Pizza, it sounds like.

Ledo's? Seriously? The poll ought to be nullified by default if people are voting for Ledo's.
