I was there last Thursday night and it was very good. We sat in the restaurant side and I had a burrito with ribs combo that was outstanding. The other two that I was with both had the flats (pizza, sort of) and liked them very much. Service was quick and the waitress was funny. I can't think of anything bad to say.

Yes your right it has changed, but we are just trying to figure out what people like, and dont like, you know better deals, and so on. We have had the same menu for quite a while now and I dont think we are changing it anytime soon. I am glad to see many of you enjoying it.

Ryan, the chef at R's, does a great job. He could make a tire taste good.

Another manager bites the dust at R's....and this the day after her birthday. Happy Birthday!10 managers and counting in one year.... Been once relatively recently. Service was very good. Food nothing to write home about. Not worth a second chance unless something changes. We NEED a god Mexican food place on the island. Come on you guys cutting grass! Get your women to open one! Seriously!!! (Oh yes... don't poison us gringos! ;-)

The owner is a world class flake. The many managers that have worked for him have had no value placed upon their careers, their families or their quality of life.Lives have been undone and reputations have been damaged. If he was such a brilliant business man then he would be able to develop a team and get things done...instead he essentially wets people and throws them against a wall to see if they'll stick. Prime example of what too much money can do to a human being. Being in the business I have known the last chef and 2 of the former managers. They are hard working, honest successful and intelligent people that were sought out by the owner, they did not seek him out. They all share the same sentiment..that the owner changes his mind when the wind blows. No consistancy.Absent minded-ness.Thankfully we have many great restaurants on the Island and in the area run by true hospitality professionals but more importantly, hard working men and women in touch with the community they serve.

he actually is a multimillionaire. he used to own white house/black whatever it is, and sold it for a bundle. i've met him, and he seemed very nice. he lives in a friends neighborhood. he may also be following a dream. the two things are not incompatible.

Agreed about Chipotle, its simple, but its really good. That and a good margarita and you're set. They already have the decent atmosphere at R's, the bar is very nice and the outside seating is a great idea.

Yeah, its kinda suspicious when all the praise is only coming from 'guests' and 'new members'. Looks like the owners and managers are on a damage-control campaign.

How about a Plaza Tapatia? Easton has one, and they are cropping up all over the Eastern Shore. Same name but individual owners. Very good Mexican food, very nice waiters and waitresses. Never had a bad meal there, lunch and dinner.

Well, I can tell you I was there from day ONE! I was one of their 1st customers because I love Mexican and was so excited. It was okay. I have been there several times and each time it was "okay"...HOWEVER, after ordering carry out and paying $40.00...yes, $40.00 for two ceaser salads and some wings that was it. I wrote to them, got an offer for a gift card and they would speak to the chef. I told them the food was good, don't blame the chef. blame the idiot that thought charging $13.00 for a plain salad and then additional $6.00 to put a piece of chicken ontop thought it was a good idea.....I am repulsed by them and why they think they can charge so much... I will NEVER go back and it's sad..
